It's that time of year again, Football season is here. But no one had to tell High School Football fans across Michiana. They packed stands at all the local games.
At the Northwood at Jimtown game, Jimtown fan, Ray Estes said, "Football season is my time of year." Elkhart Memorial fan, Ronnie Bogle, said, "I love football season whether it's high school college, pee wee, pro love it."
Football fans all have their favorite professional and college teams they always watch on TV
But what they get on the sidelines of their local high school games is even better. "I know a lot of kids on the field so I'm really excited to see what they're gonna do," said Bogle.
Jimtown fan Ally Vicsik said, "Its like exciting when someone does something that you know it's like AH!" Estes said, "Watching family play, I want to see them succeed and do well." Elkhart Central fan, Kaitlin Warren said, "It brings our school closer together. Everybody loves football."
And that's evident at these games where thousands fill the stands. When it's not football season they're wishing it was. That's why the weeks before the season starts Estes said he's,
"anxious, anxious. Ready for it to start." Now that it's here they're all cheering for the season while cheering on their teams.
