Back-to-school time often means shopping for new clothes and some new styles.
For some girls it's not all about sticking with the newest trends.
In the KROC Centers Bold and Beautiful Fashion show, girls between the ages of six and 18 showed you can be trendy and modest.
The event recognized that beauty is more than outward appearances.
One dad in the audience had two daughters modeling in the show.
"They looked gorgeous up there so I'm extremely proud. I took lots of pictures as well so we'll be able to look at those later on," said proud dad, Mark Smith.
The girls went shopping before the big show and picked out their outfits donated by Debs and Old Navy.
