There's so much to think about on the first day of classes for College freshman.
Maybe one of the most overwhelming things is learning how to get around.
Today students from all South Bend area colleges had a chance to take a bus tour of the city.
Some students on the tour from Saint Mary's College hail from as far away as Tampa Florida.
They simply wanted to get acquainted with their new home.
Saint Mary's College freshmen Katelyn Smith, Elisabeth Miller, Ally Strasen says, "I'm just excited to see South Bend. See the area, get to know this new place and new people that we'll meet up with."
After the tour, students from all colleges met up to mingle on the gridiron at the College Football Hall of Fame..for a special message from the mayor.
