An Amber Alert has been issued for a young girl Saint Joseph Police say was abducted by her mother. It happened around 10:30 Thursday morning at a home on the 500 block of Court Street in St. Joseph.
Lisa West was reportedly in the middle of supervised visitation with her 2-year-old daughter Chloe when she left. Child Protective Services did have staff at the home. It is not known whether West left on foot or in a vehicle.
Lisa West is 5'5", 180lb. with black hair and brown eyes. She was last scene wearing black shorts and a white T-shirt. Chloe was last scene wearing a flowered summer dress. She has 10 pigtails in her hair with multicolored barrettes. The two may be with a man, Wayne Henry of Benton Harbor. Police did not give a description of Henry.
