Notre Dame
Quarterback Tommy Rees will not have to pay restitution in connection to his
arrest for underage drinking and resisting law enforcement at a house party.
Rees
pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges in May.
The Saint
Joseph County Prosecutor's Office say the hearing on the restitution has been
dismissed, as the victim has no damages to claim.
Another
player, Carlo Calabrese, was also arrested at the party. He entered into a pre-trial diversion
agreement, where he'll do 20 hours of community service and pay about 300
dollars in court costs.
Both Rees and Calabrese have been suspended by Coach Brian Kelly for Saturday's
season opener against Navy in Dublin,
Ireland.
