Update:
A South Bend man died in a fatal crash on the Indiana Toll Road tonight.
Indiana State Police say 57-year-old Dennis Freemen was traveling Eastbound on the toll road when for some unknown reason, he crossed over the grass and center median and struck a westbound semi head on.
Police say Freemen was killed on impact.
The semi driver was not hurt.

Indiana State Police say at least one person is dead after an accident on the Indiana Toll Road in Elkhart County.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. in the westbound lanes near milepost 90, in front of the Elkhart travel plaza.
Toll Road officials say an eastbound passenger vehicle crossed over the median, hitting a westbound semi head-on.
One lane of the Toll Road heading west is expected to be closed for an extended period of time, along with intermittent closures of both lanes, as investigators reconstruct the accident.
