St. Joseph County ballot fraud case trial date

A judge has set a January 14th trial date for former St. Joseph County Democratic Chairman Butch Morgan and three co-defendants.

Morgan and his defendants are accused of conspiring to forge signatures on petitions to place Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton on Indiana's 2008 presidential primary ballot.

The date was set after the defendants turned down plea agreements.

Morgan denies any wrongdoing.

His co-defendants are three former workers in the county voter registration office.
