Deadly accident causes traffic restriction Tuesday

Crews on the Indiana Toll Road will be cleaning up Tuesday after the deadly accident that killed 57-year-old Dennis Freeman of South Bend. State Troopers say he crossed the median and hit an oncoming semi truck.

Soil near the accident will be replaced on Tuesday starting at 8:30. That means the driving lane near mile marker 90 in Elkhart County will be closed.

The restriction is expected to last until 1:30 Tuesday afternoon. We'll keep you updated right here on FOX28.com if anything changes.
