Starting September 2, the Indiana Department of Workforce Development says the amount of benefits Hoosier unemployed will be eligible for will be reduced to a maximum of 63 weeks, down from 73 weeks.
The state says the change is a result of federal legislation which reauthorized extended benefits earlier this year.
Workforce Development says unemployed Hoosiers can calculate how many weeks of benefits remain for them by logging on to Uplink, the state's online filing system.
