"Awesome, unbelievable, spectacular, wow."
These are words principal Susan Richter heard from students entering the doors at the brand new Saint Joseph High School.
"I was so excited I had a lot of difficulty sleeping last night. It felt like Christmas morning times ten, really," says Richter.
Richter says she couldn't wait to see what students thought. As students took their first steps in the building, many were thrilled.
"Today's my first day in the school and I was just amazed at how open it is and how bright," says student Elizabeth Kuntz.
"I was just awed because it's such a change from our old school. I mean it's so modern in here and light and open," says student Alesa Topper.
The new building is attracting fresh faces.
"I'm excited about the possibility of new students and teachers," says student Maddy Smith.
Last year there were 825 students on the first day. This year there's already over 880 enrolled, and all are excited about different things.
