Hurricane Isaac may be hundreds of miles away from us in Indiana, but we're still feeling the effects, when it comes to gas prices anyway.
Oil production has come to a near halt as Isaac passes and that means supply is down and prices are up.
Some places in Indiana saw a 40 cent jump in the last couple days.
The statewide average was up 11 cents Tuesday
Many places across Michiana are at $3.99 a gallon, and consumers aren't happy about it.
"I think they're lame man. It's horrible. It's horrible. Absolutely ridiculous. We're just trying to get by. That's all I'm saying. Can we get by?" asks Courtney Lefever, who was filling up her tank Tuesday.
Experts don't expect the jump in prices to impact labor day travel.
