A trip back in time is always more fun in an old car!
Residents of the Sanctuary at St. Paul's and guests did their reminiscing at a "Tribute to Route 66."
They had 19 old Corvettes, a Studebaker truck, a 57 Thunderbird and a dozen other old cars.
Michiana Corvette Club and Hoosier Old Wheels partnered up for the event.
The Michiana Corvette Club had previously taken a trip along Route 66.
Guests were able to dine on roadside food with recipes taken directly from restaurants and diners along the way...
Many of them remember the cars well.
"Some of them do. Some of them don't," said Route 66 Auto Show Mike Metcalfe. "And still, they're excited about it and you'll hear some of them say, "Hey, I used to have one like that or sometimes they'll just say, 'Boy, I've always wanted one like that."
Guests were also able to place their vote for their "Favorite Fan Car."
