The former Mishawaka Head Wrestling Coach will not face
charges in connection to a 2010 incident involving several team members.
Six teens on the Mishawaka High School
wrestling team were accused of assaulting a teammate back in 2010. The sixth
and final juvenile received their punishment earlier this month.
On Thursday, the Saint Joseph County
Prosecutor's Office says they've now been able to review all the evidence in
the case, including witness statements, testimony of the victims and the six
juveniles charged.
After reviewing the evidence,
Prosecutor's say they there is not enough evidence to charge former coach Darrick
Snyder with Failure to Report or Obstruction of Justice.
Snyder's
replacement as Mishawaka High School Head Wrestling Coach, Byrce Hasseman, was
hired in July.
