A fourth grader at Beiger Elementary was collecting money today for M-D-A.
After school Candace Garrard held a coffee can at the main crossing at the school.
Candace was moved by last year's M-D-A show.
"Because last year I saw that kids were in the hospital," said Candace Crawford. "Their muscles were not working and I started to cry and wanted to help them so now I am."
"We just wanted to help them and its cool that she wants to be a champ and help them out."
Candace hopes to collect as much as she can.
