Coroner: Moped driver killed in accident tests positive for drugs, alcohol

The Marshall County Coroner says a moped driver, killed in an accident last weekend in Argos, tested positive for drugs and alcohol.

Jack R. Moriarty died after crashing his moped into a fence post on 19^th Road. Marshall County Coroner Bill Cleavenger says Moriarty was killed instantly.

Cleavenger says they are seeing more of this kind of accident and that it was fortunate that nobody else was involved.
