A hometown hero is back in the country after an exciting trip to the Olympics.
Plymouth's very own Morgan Uceny spoke to a crowd Saturday and signed autographs at the Blueberry Festival in Plymouth.
Fans were excited to see her again and Uceny said she was surprised by the amount of support.
"For something that big to come out of this town is like the coolest thing ever. It's one of those real proud moments of being a Plymouth-ite I guess you would call it," says fan, Zacc Hutchings.
"That's definitely one of the benefits of being from a small town. If they don't know me, they know my family, or someone I'm related to or went to school with. Having those ties is really great," says Uceny.
Uceny had a disappointing end to her Olympic experience.
She says she's enjoying a break right now, but wants to try for a shot at the 2016 Olympics in Rio.
