After all the excitement in Ireland following a Notre Dame win, the team had a bit of a scare on the flight home Saturday night.
The Director of Player Development and Engagement for the University, Ernest Jones, got sick on the plane and had to be rushed to the hospital when the team landed around midnight.
The University says Jones was dehydrated and fainted on board the plane, an apparent reaction to some sinus medication.
Team doctors ran some tests while on the plane and made him comfortable until he could be taken to the hospital.
Coach Kelly reported he would be released this afternoon.
