What's Labor Day without a parade?
Crowds poured into downtown Elkhart to see the marching bands and dancers.
The theme was a "Celebration of Working Families."
Families say they enjoyed spending the day together away from the office.
"Why not its Labor Day and our 4 year old wanted to see all the fire trucks and ambulances and all the free stuff," Lynee Perkins of Elkhart.
The NIBCO Water & Ice Splash Pad was also open for the day for families to have a little fun.
To top off the days, there was a fireworks display at dusk.
