Two people suspected of burglaries in both Michigan and Indiana were taken into custody Thursday morning. The St. Joseph County Sheriff's Department say they caught the two suspects in the act near North Liberty.
After their arrest, the two suspects were also implicated in more than ten burglaries in Cass County, MI. Cass County Sheriff Underwood says the burglars also struck during the day and made off with smaller items like jewelry or cash.
The Cass County Sheriff's Office said the suspects were caught thanks to action taken by concerned citizens who called the authorities when they saw some suspicious people.
Police are not releasing information about the suspects at this time. One is a juvenile. More information will be released on the other suspect after he has been arraigned in Michigan.
