South Bend Police say toddler survived fall from balcony

South Bend Police were called to Miami Hills Apartments Thursday afternoon after getting a report of a toddler that fell from a balcony.

Police say a one-year-old fell from a third floor balcony, landing on the grass.

Amazingly, the boy wasn't seriously hurt. Police say he was playing with a two year-old sibling when he fell through the balcony railing.

Police and Child Protective Services are investigating.
