The defense for a man accused of killing his brother and sister-in-law will have more time to prepare. The lawyer for Steven Clippinger was granted a continuance for his murder trial.
Clippinger is charged with two counts of Murder and one count of Serious Violent Felon in Possession of a Firearm in connection to the deaths of Matthew and Lisa Clippinger. The shootings happened on June 2nd on East Eleventh Street in Mishawaka.
Clippinger's trial was set to begin September 24. It is now scheduled to start January 4, 2013. A woman, Jenifer Leveque, is also charge as an accomplice in the two deaths.
