The Mishawaka Police Department is looking for help identifying a suspect in
a bank robbery. Police released a surveillance photo of the suspect on Monday.
Police say the Community Wide Federal Credit Union in the 3500-block of Hickory was held up
around 11:20 Friday morning. Police say a black man wearing all black and armed
with a stun gun handed a teller a note demanding money. Police say the man then
started yelling and ran from the bank.
The man is described as around 5'6" with a thin build, short black and grey
hair, and a beard with a 5 o'clock shadow. The man was last seen wearing all
black, including a baseball cap with a blue emblem. Witnesses say the suspect possibly
stutters when he talks.
