Summer isn't even officially over, but it's already time to start thinking about flu season. The LaPorte County Health Department is offering two special walk-in flu clinics for adults.
The first is October 3 at their Michigan City office from 8:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm. The Michigan City office is at 302 W. 8th St., Suite 4.
The second clinic is in LaPorte from 8:00am-11:00am and 1:00pm-3:00pm. The LaPorte office is at 809 State St., Suite 401.
No reservations are needed, but you must be 19 years old or older to get the vaccine. The cost of the injection is $15. You must pay in cash.
