Nothing says fall like a crunchy red apple and in Nappanee they're kicking off the new season with the 37th annual Apple Festival. This small town is bustling with visitors from all over the place.
There's crafts, vendors, rides, a queen pageant, and off course apples galore. It's an event that people look forward to each year.
"I like carmel apples," says Jessica Miley.
"We enjoy meeting people and producing things and then having them be proud of what we made and appreciate it," says vendor Dawn Velleman.
Last year over 76,000 visited the festival. The event kicked off Thursday evening and goes through the rest of the weekend.
