Irish rally around Te'o as he suffers personal tragedies

Notre Dame Football Coach Brian Kelly says the team is rallying around Irish Captain Manti Te'o. Kelly says Te'o got news within the last 48 hours that both his grandmother and girlfriend passed away.

"He lost some people very close to him," Kelly says. "It's obviously taken a toll on him."

Kelly says Te'o has been at practice and will play during Saturday's game against Michigan State. "Our players have been there for him," Kelly says. "He wants to be with his teammates."

We're told Manti's girlfriend died after suffering from a long illness.
