Couple of road closures to warn you about for your workday commute.
Capital Avenue between 12th street and Lincolnway will be closed starting Monday, September 17th.
It will re-open on the 28th.
Norfolks Southern crews will be relocating the nearby railroad tracks as part of the new Capital Avenue project.
A detour will take southbound drivers west on S.R. 933 (Lincolnway), south on S.R. 23, east on U.S. 20, and back to S.R. 331 (Capital Avenue). Northbound drivers will travel south on S.R. 331 (Capital Avenue), west on U.S. 20, north on S.R. 23, east on S.R. 933, and back to S.R. 331 (Capital Avenue).
A stretch of US 6 will also be closed, starting Monday.
It'll be closed from US 31 to Lilac Road will be closed until September 22nd.
This is due to construction on the new US 31 overpass.
