Elkhart bank robber on the loose

Elkhart Police are hunting for a man who robbed Chase Bank on the 3500 block of Cassopolis St.

Police say on Friday, the robber demanded money and the fled the bank after getting an undisclosed amount of cash.

He was seen getting into a green Dodge Durango in the parking lot of the nearby Martin's Supermarket. The truck was last seen heading west on CR-4.

The suspect is described as 5'5"-5'8" tall with long grey hair or possibly a disguise. He was last seen wearing a dark grey sweatshirt, blue jeans and a black baseball cap.
