The man taken to the hospital on Sunday with a blood alcohol level of .548 was arrested for public intoxication just hours after being released.
Kosciusko County deputies say 28-year-old Bradley Wine was seen staggering towards an Alley near Henry St., and saw him mixing vodka into an energy drink.
Wine was given a breath test, and blew a .16. He was arrested and taken to the Kosciusko County Jail, but then was taken to an area hospital for treatment when officers noticed that Wine's condition was getting worse.
On Sunday, Wine was found in his truck east of Milford with a blood alcohol level of .548. Levels that high are usually fatal.
