They celebrated donors, volunteers and others passionate about their cause. Hope Ministries had it's 59th annual luncheon today.
They shared stories and gave "Spirit of Hope" awards to several people who go above and beyond in their work for the cause.
Every year, Hope Ministries houses between 175 and 200 people and they feed about 1000 each year.
Even with an improving economy, they haven't seen any decrease in demand for their services.
"We have not seen a significant change. We're still full. Hope Ministries has been full every day for the past almost 5 years now and were still seeing an increase in the number of people coming in for meals," says Hope Ministries Executive Director David Vanderveen.
Hope Ministries serves people who are struggling with poverty and homelessness.
