With Notre Dame's win, the Irish have moved up the polls again. ND has jumped one spot to 10th in the Associated Press poll, while the Irish move up four places to 11th in the ESPN Coaches poll.
The Wolverines dropped out of the top 25.
With all eyes and hearts on Notre Dame's Manti Te'o, the linebacker came up huge for the Irish once again.
Te'o led the Irish defense to a dominating performance. He finished with 8 total tackles, one for a loss with two interceptions.
The defense sacked Denard Robinson 3 times and held the Wolverines to just two field goals.
Bennett Jackson had a huge day as well, with one of Notre Dame's 5 interceptions, he also had the fumble recovery.
Overall, a stellar performance by the D and leader Te'o...who says he feels the love Irish fans have been giving him.
"Four years ago when I decided to come here, I didn't know why. It's starting to unveil itself why, why I felt that I was told to come here. I can't thank my team enough. I can't thank the students and just the fan base around the world, Notre Dame and non‑Notre Dame fans. They've been really great," Te'o said.
"You know, it's just very humbling for me and my family, and I appreciate all the love and support that my family and my girlfriend's family has been getting."
