Police have captured the suspect of an armed robbery in Cass County. The Hilltop Gas Station in Union was robbed last Friday.
Deputies spotted what they believe was the suspect vehicle on Monday. After a tip came in saying suspect 39-year-old Edward Wing was in Calvin Township, police took him into custody.
Wing is also a suspect in several other recent bank robberies in Elkhart County.
During this manhunt the Cass County Sheriff's Office was assisted by Cass County Drug Enforcement Team, Dowagiac Police Department K-9, Michigan State Police Niles Post, Michigan State Police Air Division, Cass County Marine Division, and Cass County Animal Control.
