Bremen Highway reopens early in Mishawaka

Good news for drivers on the south side of Mishawaka. Bremen Highway has reopened a day early after some construction work.

The road closed last Monday between Dragoon Trail and Chandler Boulevard to allow crews to remove some asphalt and replace it with concrete.

The work caused some problems for people in the area, especially along Chandler. Some people were ignoring the signs and barricades. The construction company started paying to have police sit in the construction zone after two trucks semi trucks went down Chandler, taking out power lines.
