BBC journalist, Richard Greenaway is lending his talents and perhaps slightly different perspective to students who want to do what we do...become broadcast journalists.
Greenaway was at the Elkhart Career Center today.
He's from Bristol England and many years ago, was invited to Bristol, Indiana to talk to students.
He's done it once a year since...
Teaching students everything from how to spot a story, to how to pitch a story to management.
And the differences and similarities of the job in our respective countries.
"It's interesting how we talk in this class about all the differences. I talk about bonnets rather than hoods of cars, boats rather than trunks and walking down the pavement and the students go, "What does he mean by pavement?,"said BBC Reporter Richard Greenaway. "Oh, he means the sidewalk." And it's interesting in this class we find out the difference between our cultures, but actually, deep down, it's very similar issues."
Greenaway says he does this because when he was 15, a journalist paid a visit to his class in England and that was the spark that started his career.
He sees his visit as payback, if you will, for his start in a fulfilling career.
