Organization offers free child safety kit for parents

Photos and fingerprints can be vital when police are trying to find a missing child.  A national program is in the area to help you have the resources you need should disaster strike.

Operation KidSafe is offering free child safety kits, including digital fingerprinting and photography.  The information is compiled into an simple reference sheet that can be given to law enforcement to aid in their investigation.

Operation SafeKid doesn't keep the info they collect.  The only copy of the record goes home with parents.

If you want to get your free child safety kit, head to Basney BMW-Mazda on Friday or Saturday:
