Warning for dogs sold a Nappanee Apple Festival

A warning from the Committee that runs the Nappannee Apple Festival.

According to the Festival's Facebook Page, a dog breeder at the festival sold puppies that "had a sickness that was highly contagious to other dogs."

The committee says quote "This is a very unfortunate situation and very sad to say the least."  In the future, they will no longer allow any sales of live animals at the festival, except from licensed rescue and adoption groups.

The vendor is listed as Diamond Puppy Palace based out of Fredericktown, MO.  They can be reached at 573-561-6608.
