The community came out in a big way Saturday to help a member of the FOX 28 family. Sports Anchor Allison Hayes lost her husband Rob in a car accident last month. Saturday, dozens of people played a round of golf in his honor. And Allison was there to help the game. She was at hole eight taking pictures with the golfers and they could also use her drive to play the hole. Allison said it was a great way to pay tribute to Rob. "It's been so nice to have so many friends and family and people that I don't know that well that have come out here together just to be able to play a round of golf, which is something that I love to do, something that Robert loved to do and we like dot do it together."
T-shirts were sold at the golf outing and a raffle was held. The event raised money for Allison and Rob's daughter.
