Fans of the late Michael Jackson came together Sunday not just to celebrate his music but to support their community. Non perishable food items were collected at the 4th annual Michael Jackson tribute. According to organizers, two hundred pounds of food was donated Sunday afternoon. With Thanksgiving and Christmas right around the corner, organizers are encouraging people to help feed those in need. "You see a lot of infomercials about people starving right here in America and I always wanted to be a part of helping out with that organization to finally bring something together and actually give back to the food bank of Northern Indiana," said organizer Anthony Gullens.
Gullens looks to Michael Jackson for inspiration and created this event around Jackson's humanitarian efforts.
