Monday marks the beginning of Breast Cancer Awareness month across the country and the St. Joseph Regional Medical Center wants to make sure all women in Michiana get their mammograms. So they teamed up with the South Bend Chocolate Company to offer some extra incentive.
During the month of October when women schedule their mammograms on the Medical Center's Mobile Medical Unit they will receive a free chocolate bar. The MMU will be at the South Bend Chocolate Company's factory on Sample Street in South Bend Monday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Scheduled appointments are preferred and women must have a health care provider that can receive the results of mammography scans.
