A Michigan City man is in custody accused of taking a baseball bat to the doors of city hall.
Police say 28-year-old Matthew Wolferd broke out the exterior and interior doors of the north and south entrances of Michigan City Hall Monday afternoon.
Though the doors were broken, no employees were approached or injured, and authorities say Wolferd never entered any offices.
Police managed to restrain and arrest Wolferd shortly after arriving on the scene. He is facing charges of Criminal Mischief and Disorderly conduct.
