Do you have a great idea for a business, but you need some help getting a store front? Downtown South Bend has a way to help, but you only have until Monday to get your application in.
DTSB is offering the Holiday Pop-Up Shop program for the third year in a row. Retailers have the opportunity to get no-cost, short-term leases in downtown South Bend for the holiday season.
The shops will be around the 100 and 200 blocks of S. Michigan Street and vary in size. A jury selects the winning shops based on "the appeal of product mix for holiday shoppers, how well the proposed concept works in synergy with full-time tenants, the ability to add excitement to the festive holiday atmosphere though in-store events and promotions, viability of the business concept, and the quality of proposed window displays."
The deadline for entry is noon on Monday, October 8th. You can send them by e-mail to tamara@downtownshouthbend.com or deliver them to the DTSB Office on 217 South Michigan Street.
You can find the application on the DTSB website.
