The countdown is on. The November election is just over a month away, but there's another important date to remember: October 9th.
That's the deadline to register to vote. Indiana Secretary of State Connie Lawson is traveling the state encouraging Hoosiers to register before it's too late.
"Everybody's vote counts and obviously on the ballot this year, there will be candidates all the way from United States President to your state and local officials, all the way down to school board. So every one of those individuals affects what goes on in your life on a daily basis," said Lawson.
