The crisp fall weather we experienced today was a great excuse to indulge in some chili.
Folks poured into downtown Elkhart for the fourth annual Oktoberfest, Saturday.
They enjoyed live bands, a bounce house, crafts and of course a chili competition.
Folks had the opportunity to vote on their favorite chili, and at the same time support their community.
"We definitely want the downtown to become revitalized and promote events and plan events that help do that and get community involved," says organizer Patrizia Staltari.
Darlene Seevers who was at the fest says, "I'm helping to support Elkhart and bring Elkhart back because they do a great job and they help the community. Everything goes back to an organization locally."
All proceeds from the event were donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters.
