Big changes are in store for Plymouth motor speedway. Starting next season, there will no longer be asphalt racing, it will exclusively be a dirt track with racing on Saturday nights.
This weekend, the Bull Ring was transformed into a motocross-cross track. Dirt bike super star, Travis Pastrano brought his Nitro Circus to town.
Although he is recovering from a shoulder injury, Pastrano is still working on transitioning into NASCAR. But, he felt it was important to come to Plymouth to help out his friend Eric Saunders.
Pastrana says he promised Eric 2 years ago that he would come and put on a show to help raise money for Eric's rehab. Pastrana hopes to get Eric "back on his feet" again.
