Voters heading to the polls will want to make sure they're registered this year and if you live in Indiana the deadline to register is Tuesday.
According to the state's election division to vote you must:
- Be 18 years of age or older on November 6.
- Be a U.S. citizen and Indiana resident.
- Not be in prison after being convicted of a crime
- Have lived in the precinct you're voting in at least 30 days before the election
- Be registered to vote.
If you have a driver's license or state-issued ID you can register online by visiting www.indianavoters.com. You can also register by mail or in person. Registration is available at any Bureau of Motor Vehicles branch or at the county clerk's office.
