A homeowner that police say shot two intruders and killed one of them has been cleared in the incident.  Elkhart County Prosecutor Curtis Hill announced Wednesday that Rodney Scott of Elkhart acted in self defense.

On October 3rd, five people entered Scott's home.  He shot two of them injuring one and killing the other, 21-year-old Danzele Johnson of Goshen.  The other four suspects are charged with felony murder.

Three of suspects are minors and are currently in custody, but are being charged as adults.  They are 16-year-old Jose Quiroz, 16-year-old Blake Layman, and 17-year-old Levi Sparks.

Police have requested an arrest warrant for the remaining suspect still on the loose, 18-year-old Anthony Sharp from Goshen.
