The president of the South Bend School Board is looking to censure one of its members and keep him from holding any School Board offices for the remainder of his term.
The President and Vice-President of the South
Bend School Board have been throwing accusations at each other since September. It began with accusations by Vice-President Bill Sniadecki that the board violated Indiana's "Open Door Law" by discussing possible school closures during a closed executive session.
Board President Roger Parent denies the claim and called for Sniadecki's resignation. Sniadecki refused and the situation has continued into October. Parent announced on Wednesday that he is calling a special meeting on November 9 to consider censure of Sniadecki.
