A meet and greet with Indiana candidates was held Wednesday night in South Bend. The Chamber of Commerce hosted the reception at the Gillespie Conference Center. Members of the community were able to talk to candidates running for local, county and state positions. One business owner spoke about the importance of these events.
"I came out tonight to support the chamber and their efforts. They do a great job of helping the community find out more about elected officials and meet some of the candidates," said Karen Barnett who attended the Reception. The event was free to the public.
