As you may know, it's breast cancer awareness month.
Many in the community are taking advantage of October to spread the word, and raise money.
One club rocked out Sunday for the cause.
Club Landing hosted its fifth annual Landing for the Cure.
It featured six of the area's best bands.
The community rallied behind the event and some had a personal connection to the cause.
"I mean it's great that the community will come out like this and gather, there is a lot of people here to support this cause and the money goes directly to benefit breast cancer awareness," says Janel Sears who is a breast cancer survivor.
Club owners said that past years they raised between $5 and $10,000 during the night.
They anticipate another great donation to the cancer association.
