Did the wind cause you some problems on Sunday? People all over Michiana had to deal with power outages from the powerful gusts.
Indiana Michigan power posted as many as 600 customers without power in St. Joe County at its peak. By Monday morning, that number was down to 300.
Quite a few NIPSCO customers also had issues with outages. That includes commuters between South Bend and Chicago. The South Shore line was down for most of the morning and afternoon on Sunday, because of an outage in Porter County.
The weather also caused significant damage to one of the service's substations. Some passengers trying to get back to Northern Indiana were bussed back. One woman who left Chicagoa around 8:45 Sunday morning didn't get back to South Bend until 3:30 in the afternoon.
