The Better Business Bureau says some boys are going door-to-door saying they're selling tulips for Adams Basketball team. One problem: there is no fundraiser going on right now.
The BBB or Northern Indiana says they've gotten several calls from concerned residents who have seen the high-school-aged teens. The boys are apparently telling folks that they can't take checks, only cash.
John Adams High School Athletic Director has confirmed that this is a scam. The team isn't involved in any fundraising effort right now. He went on to say that any student selling for the school would have proper identification and would have sales forms that need to be completed which bear the school name and other information in print.
